This Week's Beauty Buys

I wont lie to you, I can't go more than a few days without something from the beauty world cropping up and hypnotising me until, oopsie, its either in my shopping bag or being delivered to my door. So, I thought I'd start sharing with you guys what I'd picked up, and hopefully I'll be able to follow up with some reviews when I've got around to using everything.

Again, apologies for the awful photo's! I'm still using my iPhone until I get around to buying a new camera! Because of this, I've attached a photo with flash and without, in case that helps. Which it probably wont.

Nanshy Professional Flat Top Foundation Buffer Brush £9.99 ebay
First up is an item that I have been lusting over, forever. The brushes in this range are all super, super soft, cruelty free and really inexpensive for what they are! The handle is quite large but fits perfectly in your hand, and is pearl-coated so is lovely and silky smooth! This brush is available to buy in a set, but as I have more than enough makeup brushes and didn't really feel like I needed the other ones, I opted for this one on its own. I've really taken to using a flat top 'stippling' brush to apply my foundation and I cannot wait to see what results this one gives me!

Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation Shade 11 £32.00
So this was a bit of a splurge for me, verging on one of the most expensive cosmetic products I've purchased. All I've heard about this foundation is how wonderful it is and how true to skin it looks and feels once applied. I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to foundations makeup, so this is a welcome addition for me!

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in Golden Days £4.00
After having such good experiences with the Makeup Revolution products that I have tried, I couldn't help but pick up some more goodies! This bronzer looks a lovely colour in the pan, but once swatched it is very, very shimmery. I'm hoping that when I come round to using it properly I'll be able to make it work for me, if not? I'm sure someone I know will take it off my hands.

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Blush in All I Think About Is You £2.50
I fell in love with the last blush that I bought from this brand, and so far I can tell that I'm going to fall in love with this one too. This is a beautiful deep pink blush with purple veining and I cant wait to try it properly!

Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipgloss Tube in Too Shy, Hush Hush, Eye to Eye and Hey Girl £1.00 each
Next up I just had to purchase these four lipglosses for two reasons, the first being that they are all fab colours and look beautiful and the second being that the names of the lipglosses made me think of that 80's classic, too shy by Kajagoogoo. Daft reason, I know but it's the small things that make me happy! I bought two of the most glittery shades and two of the less glittery shades, these are really slim and handbag friendly! I was really pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped these glosses, a mix of the two glitteriest ones looks like an exact dupe for my beloved limited edition of the LancĂ´me Juicy Tubes, which unfortuantly is soooo close to running out and has gone all gungy and horrible, but I just cant bring myself to throw it away.

So thats the lot! Quite a small haul for me this week, but quite a lot of money spent. Don't you hate it when that happens? Have you tried any of these products? What do you think to them? Do you do weekly beauty buys? Please leave me your blog links, as I'd love to check them out!
