Lip Products I Love

So, even though I class myself as really boring when it comes to the lip department I seem to have collected together quite a fair few products, and as with everything some stand out more than others.

Here's a round up on my favorite lip products in my stash!

You can't have the perfect pout without a little prep right?

From left to right -
Maybelline Baby Lips is a perfect on the go lipbalm. I really love the packaging on this one and the smell is an added bonus, plus my lips always feel super soft and happy when I've used a click slick of this.
Burts Bee's Beeswax Lip Balm An old favorite of mine that I always have a tin of in my handbag. I really enjoy using products that have natural ingredients and this one is also really minty, and makes my lips tingly and feel plumper while being super hydrating too!
Vaseline Aloe Vera I think every single person in the world must have a tin of vaseline knocking around somewhere. My favourite is the Aloe Vera one as I find it really soothing throughout the different times of the year.
Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Oh-My-God. This is the best smelling lip product that I have ever smelt. This gets every last bit of dead skin off my lips and leaves them so supple and soft and ready for a slick of one of my favorite lippys..

So, everyone's a sucker for a mac lippy, no? Well I am, and I've worked out that I've spent a whopping £255.00 on the little buggers, but there's something about them that draws me in. From the super sleek packaging, to the color range, finish range, the smell - I could go on, but basically, I love them!

From left to right -
sheen supreme; blossom culture. A beautiful, creamy and nourishing feeling pink that I don't get round to wearing enough, but when I do I fall in love with it all over again. It has a lovely sheen (obviously) to it on the lips and makes me feel a lot more done up than I am when wearing it. It doesn't feel drying in the slightest and doesn't stick to my super dry lips which always makes me happy! The only down side to this one is the wear time, which isn't very long at all. I can only seem to get an hour out of this one!
lustre; viva glam v. This is one of the first mac lippys I ever bought, and was told that this was a really wearable shade that suits almost everyone, and they were not lying. I find this lipstick has the ability to look slightly different on every person that wears it. Its slightly sheer, feels really creamy and goes with every makeup look. Definitely one to have in your collection!
matte; honey love. Ah, one of my every day lipsticks which I genuinely love. I wear this almost every day as I find that it makes my lips very subtle and helps my eyes stand out more. I love a nude lip and find that this has just enough warmth in it to help you not look ill!
amplified; blankety. Again, a perfect nude. This one is a nude with a more brown tone to it which is really lovely when you have a tan, less so when your on the paler side as I find it can wash you out a bit.
amplified; morange. Possibly the brightest shade I own out of all my lipsticks. I still get a little anxious when I apply this one as I don't want to look like Mooky the clown but it is a beautiful shade. This one looks amazing with a simple eye, but its one that I save for daring days or nights out!
cremesheen; creme cup. A super cute, girly pink shade that has become quite a cult shade in the beauty world. It seems every man and his dog loves this lippy and its easy to see why, an every day pink that suits so many people!
matte; please me. Another very pretty pink, which is ever so slightly darker than creme cup. This one can really brighten up the complexion and makes me feel really feminine when I wear it.
satin; myth. My all time favorite lipstick of all time. Nothing, nothing has ever come close to my love for this one. I wear Myth almost every day and I find its the perfect finishing touch for any look. This is the one that I would repurchase first if I lost all my lipsticks!
cremesheen; hot gossip. This one is sort of a hot pink, with a dash of purple and is a very pretty color, I actually caught myself staring at this one for ages when I was selecting lipsticks for this post (sad, I know!)
cremesheen; ravishing. A beautiful bright peachy shade which I bought on a whim after watching a youtube video quite a while ago, I haven't worn this one all that often but when I do I always get compliments. Perhaps I should wear this one more..
satin; rebel. Again, another really daring colour for Mrs. Nude Boring over here. In the winter, I adore this one. It looks amazing on and doesn't dry my lips out, and has amazing staying power.
matte; viva glam I. Ah! The only red in my collection and boy, did it take me a long time to pluck up the courage to pick this one up. Its the most beautiful blue toned red which suits everyone, and makes teeth look much whiter, winner! I always feel super sophisticated when I have this on.

There are a few 'drugstore' lippys that catch my eye from time to time and some of them make it into my much loved rotation.

The Body Shop 130 Sweet Coral This is such a beautiful, summery shade. Its quite sheer and doesn't swatch as such a dramatic shade as it looks to be in the tube. It has a slight shimmer to it but doesn't feel gritty when on the lips, and has quite a good wear time (but not when eating ice cream cones!)
Rimmel Kate Moss Collection Lasting Finish 101 Is a beautiful pinky/nude shade that is a kind of, your lips but better shade. It feels really creamy on the lips and lasts for about 3 hours which is pretty good for a cheaper lipstick. The only downside with this one for me is the scent. I just find it to be really too sickly and can make me feel a little nauseous after a few minutes.
Bourjois Rouge Edition 03 Another beautiful shade, this time a more of a peach one. I really love the packaging on these lipsticks as their super easy to see the shade enclosed inside without having to faff around. The lipstick is really nice too, it applies really smoothly and lasts for a decent amount of time. Be careful with this one though, as it can make skin look a little sallow.
Maxfactor 837 Sunbronze Is my favorite summer evening lipstick as its just a beautiful bronze shade. It has a little sheen to it, but no chunky glitter particles and I just think this is a really lovely, sophisticated colour.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 700 Nude Delight, 470 Glam Plum Fulham & 360 As You Want Victoria. I find that this range of lipsticks has a superb colour selection and is very diverse. As the name would suggest these lipsticks are very moisturizing and comfortable on the lips without falling short on pigmentation and lasting power. If you want to try a new lipstick but you're on a budget I'd really suggest these ones!
Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in 728 Honey Beige This is quite a new one to my collection but I'm really enjoying using it. Its very similar to Mac's Honey Love but slightly more sheer and feels more hydrating. Honey Beige also smells delightfully like honey!

And then there are the 'other; lip products, ones that you can't really call a lipstick ie; lip crayons, liquid lipsticks ect.

L'oreal L'extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick Color Riche 601 Nude Ballet & 101 Rose Melody
For so long I avoided these like the plague thinking that they were just a massive gimmick, but eventually of course, after listening to the hype, I had to try them out. And boy am I glad I did!? These lipstick/gloss hybrids have fast become my favourite lippys! From the colours to the lasting power - even the smell is amazing. These are really creamy and are so comfortable to wear. You have to try one of these, trust me!
Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Crayon Drive Me Nude 710 Is a really nice but very sheer lip colour which I would say is more of a mauve color than a nude. Lasting power isn't amazing on this one but its a great lippy for those days when you're not sure what you should go with.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 225 Sultry & Lacquer Balm in 105 Demure
Again, another product that I was very back and forth with. I ignored these for a very long time indeed until I felt like I was really missing the party. I picked up one of each in colours that I thought I would get a decent amount of wear out of and I have to give myself a pat on the back. I love these two shades as they're not too 'in your face' but give a nice hit of colour.
Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 500 Luna & 600 Nude Eclipse
These two are my favourite 'lipcream' type products and the colours are really pretty on. I don't find these to be a lacquer exactly as they dry to more of a matte than a shine, and you have to be careful with these as they can dry your lips out and cling to them, but I still love them despite this.
Maxfactor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick in 25 Foxy Amber
This was the first product of this type that I ever got, which was actually a freebie in one of those 'spend over a certain amount and get a free gift' promotions and I honestly never thought I would use such a bright colour. However, as with everything you have to try right, and when I did I was surprised how much I liked the colour on me, so whenever I'm feeling brave I whip this bad boy onto my lips!

And finally, sometimes a pout just isn't complete without a slick of gloss. Enter, my favourite lipgloss products.. (Left to Right)

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Candy Gloss
I first discovered this gloss on one of my very first nights out on the town with some friends from work, and I had to go and purchase my own the very next day. I love the colour of this, I love how long it lasts on the lips and I love the tingly feeling it gives and makes my lips appear plumper!
Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipgloss in Eye To Eye, Too Shy, Hush Hush & Hey Girl
Another product that I love from the up and coming brand Makeup Revolution is their lip gloss tubes. These are beautiful colours, non sticky and the ones with the glitter in aren't gritty or uncomfortable in the slightest. Best of all they come in at just one pound each!
The Body Shop Flavored Lipgloss in Rose 53
This my current handbag lipgloss, which means its always in there because you never know when you might need a touch of glamour. Although this one looks super glittery in the tube, its actually quite subtle on the lips and really compliments any nude lip!
Lancome Juicy Tube in Lychee 19
I was actually sold this one by mistake when I was looking for my all time favourite lipgloss. I was disappointed at first but  soon grew to love this one for itself. Its a beautiful juicy pink colour that is perfect for summer. Even with a 'no makeup makeup look' this looks beautiful!
Lancome Juicy Tube Limited Edition - Not Sure Of The Name
And finally, my all time favourite gloss. Unfortuantly this one was actually a limited edition tube and I can't find it anywhere. I should really have thrown this tube away a long time ago, but I just cant bring myself to. Gross, I know but this really is the most perfect lipgloss I've ever used. Its a nudey, pale pink with a beautiful gold glitter incorporated. I'm so sad that I've only got the last dregs of this one left, but if anyone knows where I can get something really similar, please let me know!
